About Documentary Family Sessions

Two Session Types

Day in the Life book

A documentary family photography session and particularly the Day in the Life session provides an opportunity to authentically tell the story of your family on one day.  The photographs reflect the love between siblings, excitement over a new toy or a meltdown in the grocery store parking lot.  Its what happens so I shoot it.  A typically Day in the Life sessions start when your children wake up in the morning and last until they are read their bedtime story.

If possible, I like to meet you and your children before the day of the shoot so I’m not a total stranger, however, its not a requirement.

I will upload ten to twenty photographs to social media that you can tag and post on your social media.

You will receive an online gallery of curated images to select from for your book.  Books run between 30 and 50 pages are printed in your choice of black and white or color photography.

Additional prints and digital files will be available at an added per image fee.

Hourly Documentary style shoots

You can book me for an hourly session of one to 3 hours in the locations of your choice.

Hourly sessions include 10 to 20 images uploaded to social media that you can tag and share as you wish.

If you would like to purchase images for your printing, they will be available at an added fee per image.

A Documentary family photography book, or “Day in the Life” is a wonderful opportunity to capture the character of the people in your family today.  This creative and beautiful book is a slice in time that will be treasured by your children, parents and by you for many years to come.
