Built on a career in photojournalism, storytelling is my love and strength. I am a documentary photographer focused on people and their relationships to each other. Before launching my freelance career, I worked as a photo editor at USA TODAY and as a staff photographer and photo editor for The Army Times Publishing Company.
My photojournalism experience and passion for capturing meaningful moments led me to documentary family photography. As a mother, I understand that life with young children is full of unguarded and powerful moments and that these precious times are fleeting.
My home is in Washington, DC and I love spending as much time as possible on the glorious oasis that is Martha’s Vineyard.
My clients include: The Washington Post, POLITICO, Foreign Affairs Journal and USA TODAY. I also work for various associations such as the Navy League, Healthcare Leadership Council, Strategic Account Management Association and AARP.
I am credentialed for Capitol Hill and routinely cover events and lobby days for associations and other interest groups.
